Due January 21

To avoid confusion, I've pasted the Bible memory verses below. These will be tested on Monday, January 21. In addition to this, myths 19, 20 and 21 will be due this Monday as well.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”  For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:8-13

Heading Towards Mid-Term

Can you believe it? Only a few more weeks and we'll be at the mid year point. You'll be only one semester away from graduation!

Here's the homework for the week:

1. Complete the "Brain Food" sections for chapters 15-17, Myths of the Resurrection.
2. Memorize 1 Corinthians 15:3-6.

We're going to be finalizing plans for the date night project at that point as well, so bring any great ideas you have. Mrs. Pitcher gave permission, so all we have to do is make it happen!
